A skill development programme  launched by the Govt for the poor girls through the existing structure of different Departments. The training will be provided as per attitude of the poor girls. The scheme aims to upgrade the skill of the identified poor girls in the state in order to provide them self employability and self sustainability.
Project ‘ASSIST ‘ of National Foundation for Communal Harmony
The National Foundation for Communal Harmony New Delhi under Ministry of Home Affairs Government of India is running a project ‘Assist’for helping and rehabilitating children of militancy ,communal violence and caste /ethenic violence in the country. The children are provided financial assistance through social welfare Department upto the age of 25 years provided they have not abandoned studies.

  1. The child should belong to the militancy victim/violence hit family.
  2. The child should be school going.
  3. The annual income of the family of the violence/militancy hit family should not exceed Rs 2 lacs per annum.

Documents required for registration;-

  1. Application form filled in and dully certified by the Surpanch and Tehsildar.
  2. English translated copy of the FIR of the incident issued by the SHO concerned.
  3. Income certificate of the family.
  4. Study certificate of the student issued by the head of the institute.
  5. Non involvement certificate issued by the Sr. Superintendent Of Police .

     The cases are sanctioned by the District Level Committee headed by the District Development Commissioner and consisting of District Social Welfare Officer and Chief Education Officer. After sanctioning the cases are forwarded to NFCH New Delhi.
